UPSC CAPF 2019: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced applications for appointment to the posts of CISF, Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant). The process of filling the CAPF application form will start from April 24 this week. The Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) examination will be organized on August 18. Application fee: There are no fees ST / SC candidates & for General candidates and Rs. 200. Application fee can be paid from online mode or through bank challan Mode.

UPSC CAPF 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Assistant Commandant post must be Bachelor Degree from any recognized university or college.
Candidates applying for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant must be 20 years to 25 years of age.

For 100 m race 16 seconds for men and  18 seconds for female
For 800 m race 3 mins 45 secs for men and  4 mins 45 secs for female
For Long jump 3.5 meters (three times chance) 3.0 meters (three times chance)

UPSC CAPF 2019: Selection process

UPSC CAPF selection process for the assistant commandant recruitment in UPSC CAPF is executed in three stages.

Written Examination
This is first step in selection process. Written examination consists of two papers, in which the first paper is of General Knowledge . Under which questions of General Knowledge and Reasoning Ability come. Assistant Commandant in CAPF Written Examination in Phase of Recruitment Process
This paper is of the total number of 250
 Paper-I Syllabus: It includes general questions related to mental ability, general science, contemporary events of national and international importance, Indian state system and economy, history of India and geography of India and the world. Questions are of objective type as well as negative marking.
Paper-II Syllabus: The second paper of the CAPF exam is a total of 200 marks. With this general study, questions of essay and compression are kept. There are two parts of this paper- In the first part there are questions related to geography from India and the world, besides there are questions related to the history of physics, social and economic aspects.
Essay is included in the second part of the second paper. This part of the 80-digit is written in Hindi or English. In the second part, there will be 120 issues related to unread postings, Sanskrit writing, other communication / language skills, which have to be answered in English only.
Physical Efficiency Examination
Physical ability examination in second phase after written examination. After written examination, physical ability is examined. In which there are different standards for male and female candidates. This test is used to test race, jump and shot put ability. For male candidates, there is a race of 100 meters and 800 meters, which is to be completed in 16 and 3 minutes and 46 seconds respectively. For women candidates, this race is to be completed in 18 and 4 minutes, 45 seconds, respectively.
Apart from this, men have to jump 3.5 meters in the long jump, whereas women have to jump 3 meters. After this, the candidates have to undergo a medical test.
Interview
Finally, there is a session to the interview, which is a total of 150 marks. The final selection is done on the basis of written exam and interview points.
